This species of succulent is a perennial plant known for its compact red rosettes. Foliage may be glossy or matte, and is covered in a waxy texture. Star-shaped flowers are pink or red, and even sometimes yellow! These appear on long stems during Winter to Summer.

These succulents are ideal for decorative pots and containers. A great addition for rockeries and waterwise gardens.

They prefer well-drained soil, and are tolerant of light frost and dry periods.
