Carex brunnea 'Variegata' 'Golden-edged Sedge' 7cm

This Ornamental sedge a rich dark green foliage with a fine cream stipe around the outer edge. it forms a dense clump topped with brown flowers that appear during summer. It's happiest  in moist well drained soils with full sun to part shade. It can tolerate moderate frosts and coastal conditions. Great for use in rockeries, pots, beside pools and its quite catching planted in masses.
