Pencil Red has been selected for its upright habit, and contrasting tipped new growth of rich red foliage which turns to a deep green once mature. During Spring to Summer produces dainty cream flowers, attracting birds & beneficial insects. Pencil Red has a variety of uses for narrow hedging or screening.

Full sun or dappled shade. Will tolerate short periods of dry or frost once established.  Psyllid resilient.
